Taking this seriously, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav responded, saying:
“In this hour of crisis, the Madhya Pradesh government stands firmly with the Raghuvanshi family. I have spoken to the Chief Minister of Meghalaya and also requested Union Home Minister Amit Shah to order a CBI investigation. Every possible effort is being made to ensure the safe return of Sonam Raghuvanshi.”
